Oh, hello there, internets… what up?
I know I haven’t blogged this week, but the “hot as balls” continued into midweek, and then I got distracted by the allergies leaking their way out of my nose and being generally tired last night, so tired that I slept from, oh 6:30 pm to 12:30 am, waking up to watch bad television, and going back to bed at 2am.
Today, thanks to some summer flex-finagling of the hours, I was out of the office by 12:30, and out of the mall two hours later with a brand new phone. I got the red one. And I got a PDA plan for my phone. This is only because the salesman nodded and smiled when I asked him for the cheaper mediaNET plan, sent me on my merry way, and didn’t bother telling me that a. he hadn’t added that plan to my account and b. you can’t add that plan to a PDA phone. The nice lady at AT&T Customer Care did add the PDA plan… which was twice the cost of the plan I’d thought I’d signed up for.
I knew getting the phone for sixty-something bucks was too good to be true.
In any case, at least until I get my rebate, I will be paying a pretty penny to be able to surf the web from my phone when I’m not in front of a computer. Perhaps I will read blogs at lunch. Not that I’m not reading them now! *cough*
There are other things going on in the world. My dad has a job. My mother’s aunt Millie died of cancer at the age of 85 (but not before hugging Dan Lauria, aka Jack Arnold, whose mother was in the same senior living center as she was). I spoke to my uncle today for the first time in years - about the weather, a topic he was fond of writing me about when I was a wee lass. It was his birthday, and I didn’t know what to say. I asked him how the weather was in Michigan.
The moral of the story is, someone as antisocial as I should not have a PDA phone. Should you ever want to text me, though, you’ll find out.

The weather in Michigan SUCKS! It went from cold to boiling. Nothing in between.
I want a PDA phone but Kris doesn’t see the point. He thinks I should get one of those directional things. GPS systems. I would love a PDA. Actually, I want a blackberry!
I was thinking of planning a trip to NYC. We’ll see. I’m getting antsy in MI!

@Jennifer - The weather in Michigan isn’t too different from the weather in Joisey, then. I think I emailed you about the PDA service available with a PDA phone. Use that as your justification!
@TLo - If by “go for” you mean “swoon like a ten year old in a non-sexual, jump-bones” kinda way, I don’t think that’ll be an interesting blog! None of my “real-life” crushes fit the mold!
