It’s been one of those weeks.
Ok, that’s not entirely true. Really, it was only one of those Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a dash of Monday sprinkled in. I’ve been hanging out over at LiveJournal so you probably missed all the drama.
One of the stray cats that a friend takes care of had to be put down. Bone cancer.
It’s February, so work is quiet. This usually means I do not want to do anything I have to do, and would rather be home staring at the television screen. So February is kind of like the DMV line in the old Dane Cook bit, where you’re standing there, silently, but screaming inside, “GOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Anyone wanna punch me in the face?
I did not vote in my state’s primary, but plan to be registered in time to vote for the next president. I mean it this time. In case you give a shit, I am rooting for Hillary. This is my right as an American, and frankly, a bunch of people voted for Dubya - twice - so do not question my endorsements.
Yesterday was Dad’s birthday. It was also Chinese New Year, and it’s the year of the Rat. While I don’t know if Dad’s Chinese sign is Rat or not, it is Mom’s pet name for him, so I’m hoping there’s symbolism there. He needs it to be his year. He needs a job. So, Rats of the world, send good vibes to Diz’s dad.
Okay, I think that’s all I got. I’m trying not to be passive-aggressive about people and things, and to tell you any more would be being passive-aggressive, so have a lovely weekend and do fun things.

Just remember Hiliary’s husband and Bush Sr are pals! Careful who you vote for. Romney was being funded by Cheney. They’re all linked. Which is sad.
Basically, we’re screwed. Obama Momma doesn’t have a link that I could find but some politician’s are just better at covering up their evil ways. Anyone is better then Bush.
I would *love* to see a women in office. We’re not there yet. The (hick) country is more likely to vote in a black man then a woman. We are emotional people and can’t possible run this country. Although, there has been women President’s in places like India and other 3rd world countries.
I’m voting for Mickey Mouse. He’s always happy and doesn’t wear pants. (Not really but I can’t decide.)
@jen - You can be “pals” with someone and not agree with them politically. I sincerely doubt the Clintons will be Dubya Part II.
Yes, we’re screwed anyway. Such is the world we live in. And we would be ready for a woman in office if people weren’t so intimidated by one who is a polarizing figure.
