Treinta y Siete: First snow? Sore throat? Sounds like a movie day to me!

Today’s fact is kind of a cop out.

I am exhausted after a week of car-related freaking out. By the way, my driver’s side door? It makes a popping sound when I open it? Anyone think it just needs some WD40?

Today is the first snow of the winter! Yeah, I know - it’s still technically fall. But I live in Joisey, and it’s December. Therefore, winter. I got to brush the first inch off my car. Of course, I am now neurotic (I blame Mom) about scratching the paint.

I’ve had a sore throat for a couple of days. Line of action? Chloroseptic throat lozenges and chamomile tea with honey.

This is the first weekend in a month where I do not have to write! I mean, like, that novel that we won’t talk about for awhile. My TiFaux is also 90% full. So let’s see if I can’t make a dent in it, no?

In summary… it snowed, I’m tired, and I’m sick, so I am having a stay in bed and veg day.

Happy Sunday!

Get some Lithium Grease instead, available in a spray can. Sure, it will make everything white in color when you spray it, but it’s better than WD40 because it is not so thin.

If it fixes the sound problem, who knows. But a can of that stuff is not expensive, and can be used to lubricate other things as well (eventually).
